Hi, my name is Brian Larsen. I grew up in Batavia, IL. I started cutting grass when I was 15 years old for neighbors and by the time I was 16 I had 30 accounts and I saved my money and bought a commercial lawnmower. When I was a senior in high school I was awarded the lawn maintenance contract for the City of St. Charles; a huge contract for me and from there I went into landscaping and design work.
In 2000 I incorporated County Wide Landscaping, Inc. and pretty much got out of maintenance and concentrated on design work. I went to CAD architectural school and focused on designing outdoor living spaces.
In 2002 I married Angela Panozzo Larsen and won my first Unilock award. Between 2002 and 2010, I won the Unilock award every year and in 2006 and 2008 I won the International Paving award. I partnered up with Signature Pools in 2009 and started installing fiberglass pools and won 5 National pool design awards.
My family grew – in 2003 my first daughter, Isabella was born, followed by Skylar in 2005 and Jaxson in 2006. County Wide Landscaping is highly recognized for designing outdoor living spaces in the Chicagoland area.
We do the Christmas light show every year, starting in 2006. It has grown every year and people come from all over to see it. We love doing this because we love creating a family tradition for families to enjoy every year.
